THE BOAT

IMAGINA is 37´ (11,5 metres) long. It weights about 11,000 pds and is a safe and sturdy boat. She has been cruising the caribbean for the last 10 years.
S/V IMAGINA
She is sloop rigged, which means it has only one mast and a front sail and a pretty fast for a boat its size , we can sail 120 miles a day with the wind on the beam, where she likes it the best. Sails and points well, and allows us to travel relatively fast (for a boat) saving a lot of money in diesel and not making a whole lot of motoring noise! We like to sail...

On deck we have a large center cockpit where we have meals, relax, play guitar, hang out and try to fix the world...There are wide sidedecks and a great diving platform aft which is great for swimming, and getting all of our gear for kiteboarding, surfing and scuba in the dinghy, or just to get back onboard. In the aft deck we also keep a BBQ and fishing rods, we also set up a small seat for a sunset drink or enjoy the breeze as we sail.
SAILING - DINGHY - SALOON - CABIN - GALLEY
Below decks she is pretty roomy for a boat her size. The forward cabin has its own head (bathroom) and shower and there are single bunks spreaded around the saloon. The Aft double cabin is ours.
Navigation is done by a GPS and a satellite radar, C-map laptop, autopilot. We have a nice windless for the anchors (2 + 200´chain), watermaker, bilge electric pumps, 10´dinghy and a 9hp outboard serves us well to take us to the beach or to scuba sites in safety.
We carry scuba diving tanks (4), masks, fins and kitesurfing equipment as well (12m, 10m and a trainer kite) as we are always on the look out for reefs and some sports adventure.
